ZGXH-2R24-5a Signal SPD User Manual
General
Standard compliance: GB/T 18802.21-2004 and Q/75875187-9.3-2011.
This product is connected to the front end of the protected equipment and is used to protect the high-speed Ethernet interface circuit. Both the input and output ends are shielded RJ45 sockets.
It uses category 5 shielded twisted pair cables with RJ45 plugs to connect with the protected equipment.
The protector features a fast response speed, a high transmission rate and a low protection level.
Operating Environment
Temperature range: –40°C to 70°C; relative humidity: ≤90%; air pressure: 86 kPa to 106 kPa.
Working Principles
Connected in series in front of a protected equipment, this SPD diverts lightning current to ground through its lightning circuit when the transmission line suffers from lightning induction. In addition, the SPD clamps lightning overvoltage to a level allowed by the equipment, thereby ensuring security of the equipment.

Exterior
The protector adopts the form of a standard 19-inch chassis and can be directly installed on the rack.
Both the input and output are RJ45 sockets.
On the front panel of the protector, the ports marked "1 - 24" on the upper row are the input ports, and those marked "1 - 24" on the lower row are the output ports. The output is connected to the protected equipment through Category 5 twisted pair cables with RJ45 plugs.
