ZGQ-11 Lightning Counter

General
The ZGQ-11 lightning counter is used to record the current amplitude of the lightning waveform. Applying the principle of current induction, it can record the lightning current with amplitude in the range of 0.3 kA to 40 kA and output a dry contact signal for users to connect to other equipment.

Working Principle
The inductance probe is installed on the wire (generally the ground wire) through which the lightning current passes. When the lightning current comes, the inductance probe collects the lightning current signal and converts it into the voltage signal. After signal processing, the voltage signal is sent to the single-chip microcomputer. One record of lightning current is generated. The lightning current counting signal is transmitted to the user through the dry contact, and the signal holding time is ≥ 500 ms.
